<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a water quality improvement function to a gabion by providing the same with a feature to absorb a harmful substance in the water while utilizing the advantage of the gabion. <P>SOLUTION: A gabion 2 with an absorption function has a gabion main body 7 made of a wire net. The inside of the gabion main body 7 is separated by a partition net 16 into a first storage room 17 which is positioned at a back side of the gabion and has a large volume and a second storage room 18 which is positioned at a front side of the gabion and has a small volume. The inside of the first storage room 17 is filled with rocks 8. A porous ion absorption body 9 which is positively or negatively charged to absorb ionized harmful substances 22 and 23 in the water is installed inside the second storage room 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
