<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of improving a degree of freedom in designing by forming an induction coil to be small. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: an annular heating rotor 9a which is heated by electromagnetic induction heating using electromagnetic induction and has a heating side roller 91 rotatable about a first rotational axis J1, a fixing side roller 92, and a heat-rotating belt 93 which runs between the heating side roller 91 and the fixing side roller 92; a pressure rotor 9b; an induction coil 71 being arranged along an outer surface of the heating rotor 9a and having a predetermined thickness to generate a magnetic flux for heating the heating rotor 9a, the induction coil 71 being formed such that an inner edge 711A of a first surface portion 711 protrudes toward a central region 718 side more than a surface 782 including an inner edge 712A of a second surface portion 712 and the first rotational axis J1 of the heating side roller 91; and a magnetic body core section 72 which forms a magnetic path surrounding wire material constituting the induction coil 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
