When a rear-wheel total torque (TcLR) is less than a rear-wheel torque difference (?TcLR) and said rear-wheel torque difference (?TcLR) cannot be realized by dividing up the rear-wheel total torque (TcLR) between left and right, instead of setting an inside-wheel-side target torque (TcIN) to 0 and an outside-wheel-side target torque (TcOUT) to ?TcLR, the disclosed device sets the inside-wheel-side target torque (TcIN) to the minimum initial torque (TcMIN) required to prevent a three-wheel-drive state and sets the outside-wheel-side target torque (TcOUT) to a value the realizes the rear-wheel torque difference (?TcLR) with the inside-wheel-side target torque (TcIN) being equal to the initial torque (TcMIN): namely, the sum of the initial torque (TcMIN) and the rear-wheel torque difference (?TcLR). This configuration makes it possible to improve turning stability without causing a three-wheel-drive state, even if TcLR < ?TcLR.
|
