A device and method for dynamically configuring the Discontinuous Reception (DRX) parameters are provided in the present invention. The method includes that: when the DRX parameters of a terminal need to be adjusted, the DRX parameters are adjusted until the terminal satisfies the requirements of the Guarantee Bit Rate (GBR) after the DRX parameters adjusted. Adopting the technical solutions in the present invention, the base station can be real time adapted to the requirement of the power saving and the performance of the terminal by dynamically estimating the adjusted DRX parameters of the terminal, and can satisfy the requirement for the signaling load in different circumstances by setting the adjustment period.
