PURPOSE: An adhesion apparatus of a sub secondary barrier for an LNG storage tank and an adhesion method thereof are provided to enable secure adhesion of a sub secondary barrier on heated adhesive. CONSTITUTION: An adhesion apparatus of a sub secondary barrier for an LNG storage tank comprises a frame(10), a drive unit(20), an adhesive applying unit, a sub secondary barrier feeding unit. The gap between first and second frames(11,12) is adjusted by a gap controller. A part of the drive unit is installed in the frame. The drive unit transfers frames corresponding to an exposed portion of a secondary barrier between upper heat insulation boards(83) adjacent to each other. An LNG storage tank comprises a flat standard part(110), a corner part(130), and a broadside part. The broadside part is located between the standard part and the corner part. The adhesive applying unit and the sub secondary barrier feeding unit are mounted in the frame. The adhesive applying unit applies adhesive on the exposed portion. The sub secondary barrier supplies the sub secondary barrier on the adhesive.
