PURPOSE: An installation method of a riser tensioner for a derrick is provided to reduce the manufacturing time and costs of a derrick by separately performing the installation work of a riser tensioner. CONSTITUTION: An installation method of a riser tensioner for a derrick is as follows. A drill floor having a through hole is installed on the top of vertical and horizontal structures assembled each other to manufacture a derrick(S10). A tensioner is lifted through multiple fastening points to be arranged around the through hole and be fixed to the horizontal structure(S20).
