<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition having good temporal stability and landing position accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises: a pigment; water; a water-soluble polymerizable compound; and a compound having a specific structure. The water-soluble polymerizable compound preferably has a (meth)acrylamide structure. An ink set comprises: the ink composition; and a treatment liquid containing a flocculating agent which flocculates a component in the ink composition; wherein the treatment liquid contains at least one selected from the group consisting of an acidic compound, a polyvalent metal salt, and a cationic polymer. An image forming method includes: an ink imparting step of imparting the ink composition onto a recording medium; and a treatment liquid imparting step of imparting, to the recording medium, a treatment liquid containing a flocculating agent which flocculates a component in the ink composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
