<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery suppressing internal resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery according to the present invention, a positive electrode mixture layer is formed on a surface of a positive electrode collector. The positive electrode mixture layer includes positive electrode active material consisting of lithium transition metal composite oxide having a layer structure.
