<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer conveyance device capable of performing smooth conveyance by preventing retention of developer in the downstream side of a developer conveyance path. <P>SOLUTION: The developer conveyance device comprises a developer conveyance cylindrical body 111A having a developer conveyance path f, a toner introduction port 115a disposed at an upstream side of the developer conveyance path f and a downstream side opening 111d at a downstream side of the developer conveyance path f, and a screw-shaped shaft 112 installed in the developer conveyance cylindrical body 111A. The screw-shaped shaft 112 has a rotating shaft 112b and spiral blades 112aa and 112ab attached to the outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft 112b. The rotating shaft 112b has a conical part 112ba that is located adjacent to the downstream opening 111d and has gradually increasing diameter towards the downstream side.
