<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new photosensitizer which can absorb light in a wide region from visible light to infrared rays, can enhance light absorption efficiency even in an ultra-thin film, and has a high light absorption coefficient. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the photosensitizer having a structure represented by general formula (I) äwherein, M is a transition metal selected from Ru, Os, Fe, Re, Rh, Co and Cu; R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">16</SP>are each independently H, a carbonyl group-containing group, phosphate ester group, 1 to 30C alkyl, 2 to 30C alkenyl, 1 to 30C alkoxyalkyl, 1 to 30C aminoalkyl, 1 to 30C perfluoroalkyl, 6 to 30C aryl, 7 to 30C aralkyl, carbonyl group-having alkyl, carbonyl group-having alkenyl, carbonyl group-having aryl, or carbonyl group-having aralkyl; or R<SP POS="POST">n</SP>may be bound to R<SP POS="POST">n+1</SP>(n is an integer of 1 to 15, excluding 4, 5, 11, and 12) to form an aromatic ring; each X is independently a monodentate ligand selected from -NCS, halogen atom, -CN, -NCO, -OH or -NCN<SB POS="POST">2</SB>}. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
