<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer having a shorter cycle time achieved by minimizing a time required to move a nozzle such as a sample probe when washing the nozzle. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer of an embodiment includes a nozzle, first and second change units, a washing water supply unit, and a control unit. The control unit controls the first change unit, the second change unit, and the washing water supply unit, respectively, so as to include steps of firstly forming a first channel state to discharge fluid from a nozzle channel, secondly forming a second opening state where an opening of the nozzle positions in detergent and a second channel state to suck fluid into the channel after the first step, thirdly forming the first channel state after the second step, and fourth forming a first opening state and supplying washing water to an outer wall of the nozzle after or in parallel with the third step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
