<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope that can be floated on the water while strength and durability of the rope are sufficiently secured. <P>SOLUTION: The utilization ratio of polypropylene fiber used in a core part 2 and a skin part 3 and polyester fiber used in the skin part 3 is adjusted so that the specific gravity of a rope 1 as a whole is set to be less than 1. Because the polyester fiber more excellent in strength and durability than the polypropylene fiber is used in the skin part 3, the entire rope 1 has improved strength (the strength relative to diameter) and durability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
