摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AF system that enables satisfactory focus even for a photographic lens system with a precondition that a correction is made in an image process, and that captures phase difference information from a signal output from an imaging element. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention comprises an imaging device including two-dimensionally arranged photoelectric conversion cells, at least a part of the photoelectric conversion cells being configured so as to output signals for detecting an amount of defocus. The photoelectric conversion cells for outputting the signals for detecting the amount of defocus compose at least two photoelectric conversion cell groups that receive a luminous flux from pupil areas having different areas. Each of the photoelectric conversion cell groups has a plurality of photoelectric conversion cell lines; includes a calculating section having an AF mode for generating a defocus signal by mutually comparing the signals for detecting the amount of defocus, the signals having been output from the two photoelectric conversion cell groups, and a correcting section for correcting the signals for detecting the amount of defocus based on information relating to the distortion aberration of an imaging lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
