<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower which eliminates the need of a cooling fan for a cooling device and which enables the length of the straight pipe of a suction pipe on the upstream side to be shortened. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling device 46 including a cooling pipe through which lubricating oil flows and cooling fins arranged continuously with the cooling pipe is disposed at the upstream side opening end 26 of the suction pipe 24 connected to the suction port 22 of the blower 14. A gas flow sucked into the suction pipe 24 when the blower 14 is operated passes through the cooling device 46 to cool the lubricating oil flowing through the inside of the cooling pipe. The cooling pipe and the cooling fins extend straightforward to proper predetermined lengths in the flow direction of the gas flow, and the surfaces thereof perpendicular to the gas flow are partitioned vertically or vertically and laterally so as to provide a straightening function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
