<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a lining plate to a steel member, capable of fixing a lining plate made from titanium or the like that cannot be directly fused and welded to a steel member such as a steel plate constituting towers and vessels such as a steel container, in a sealed condition. <P>SOLUTION: In the fixing structure wherein a lining plate 5 of metal is fixed to a body plate 1, an opening part 6 is provided at the lining plate 5 arranged on the body plate 1, and a bored steel washer 7 is engaged with the opening part 6 such that the lining plate 5 is pressurized against the body plate 1. The lining plate 5 is fixed to the body plate 1 by welding the inner peripheral surface of a through-hole 71 of the washer 7 to a surface of the body plate 1. On the lining plate 5, a lid member 8 made from the same metal as the lining plate 5 is so arranged as to cover the washer 7.
