<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress cost by simplifying a cutter drum drive mechanism in a crankshaft milling machine. <P>SOLUTION: The crankshaft milling machine includes: a pair of work heads 3; a swing head 14; and the cutter drum drive mechanism 25. The pair of work heads 3 are arranged facing one another along a first shaft which is the main shaft, and support a crankshaft. The swing head 14 is arranged between the pair of work heads 3, has the cutter drum 21 for machining the crankshaft passing through the inner section thereof, is capable of swinging centered on a swing shaft 12 parallel to the first shaft, and is capable of moving along a second shaft which is orthogonal to the first shaft. The cutter drum drive mechanism 25 includes, on the swing head 14, a drive shaft 30 which is arranged so as to be offset from the swing shaft 12 of the swing head 14, and a cutter drive motor 31 which rotates the drive shaft 30; and the cutter drum drive mechanism 25 drives the cutter drum 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
