<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for electric diffusion joining capable of accurately joining members to be joined made of a thin pipe material or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The electric diffusion joining device 1 includes upper and lower electrodes 11 and 12 fastening the members M to be joined and electrically conductive to the members M, a power source unit 20 supplying the electric current to electrodes 11 and 12, and a pressurizing unit 30 imparting pressure to joining surfaces. The pressurizing unit 30 regulates displacement of the members M and imparts the pressure to the joining surfaces S when a temperature T detected by a temperature sensor 45 is equal to or lower than a first set temperature T1, and imparts the pressure based on the elastic force of a spring 35d elastically deformed in accordance with the displacement of the members M to the joining surfaces S when the temperature T exceeds the first set temperature T1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
