<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an aliphatic compound, capable of recovering the aliphatic compound from an alga body at a high recovery rate by a simple process without using an organic solvent. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing the aliphatic compound includes a cultivation process for cultivating algae so that the algae produce the aliphatic compound containing at least either of oil-and-fat and aliphatic hydrocarbon, and a blasting process for blasting the algae by maintaining a mixture containing the algae, obtained by the cultivation process, and water at a temperature of 110-300°C for 1 minute to two hours in a pressure vessel and then depressurizing the pressure vessel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
