<p>Disclosed are an electronic document browsing method, electronic document browsing device, and program for same whereby the contents of a plurality of discontinuous regions in an electronic document can be visually confirmed simultaneously on one screen, without any loss of visibility in the display. Specifically disclosed is a document browser device for browsing electronic documents that is provided with a display unit that presents information to a user and an operation receiving unit that detects an operation by a user and recognizes said operation. An electronic document is identified in page units and a display sheet is generated by texture mapping a sheet model that has internally generated the contents of the page. The operation receiving section interprets the contents of an instruction based on the operation received by the operation reception unit. It is at least possible to interpret a plurality of page turning methods, the shape of the display sheet is altered according to one of the interpreted plurality of page turning methods or a combination thereof, and the display sheet is displayed in the display unit.</p> |
