Disclosed is a mobile wireless device capable of achieving high antenna performance and of reducing the impact of a notch in a plate member and the impact on antenna performance due to routing of the signal cable that electrically connects a first circuit substrate and a second circuit substrate. The disclosed mobile wireless device is provided with a conductive member (30) which covers a signal cable (120) that electrically connects a first circuit substrate (105) provided in a first housing and a second circuit substrate (106) provided in a second housing, and which covers a notch (21) in a ground plate (20) stacked with the second circuit substrate (106). By this means, when an antenna element is positioned near a first hinge, or even if the first hinge is used as an antenna element, impact due to the notch (21) in the ground plate (20) and impact due to routing of the signal cable (120) can be decreased, and a high antenna performance can be secured.
