PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and receiving of video telephony having a function of adjusting resolution quality is provided to enable a communication terminal to finely descript a specific area of the video telephony. CONSTITUTION: If a communication channel is set, a first mobile communication terminal transmits video call data to a second mobile communication terminal. The first mobile communication terminal outputs an image as a first screen(41) of a display unit(141). The first mobile communication terminal selects the area which is defined as a first domain(31) in the first screen as a detailed area. The first mobile communication terminal processes the first area as an intra macro block. According to selection or the establishment of a user, the first mobile communication terminal processes data according to the preset encoding rate. |
