The method involves deforming a skin by effect of an insertion device (3), whose bottom side is pressed against the skin. A skin surface is arranged in a hanging or step type such that an insertion needle with a tip points the step or hanging type mounted skin surface. A recess is formed between two pressing areas (4a, 4b) for insertion of the needle, where the pressing areas cut in respective lines. One of the lines runs in longer height than that of the other line, and one of the pressing areas is designed as strips. An independent claim is also included for an insertion device comprising an insertion needle.
