Improved apparatus for administering the nauheim or carbon dioxide effervescent bath

An apparatus is provided for supplying hydrochloric acid to a bath containing water, which may be mineralized or medicated, and sodium bicarbonate for the purpose of generating carbon dioxide in the bath. The apparatus comprises a container A fitted with a byepass F and a small jet K. On opening the valve H a rapid flow of acid into the bath ensues saturating the bath water with carbon dioxide. Thereafter the remainder of the acid flows through the jet to maintain a constant supply of carbon dioxide.
