The mold (101) has a die or a core formed by assembling a die shell (107) or core shell (120) in a form-fit manner and defining a cavity on a lower face (107b) of a core shell or a upper face (120b) of the die shell opposite to an upper face (107a) of the core shell or a lower face (120a) of the die shell. The cavity is closed by a core plate (105) or die plate (119). Core and die inserts (110, 122) are supported by the plates for filling the cavity to absorb compression and traction forces created during molding. Ejectors (112) pass through the core plate, the core insert and the core shell. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of manufacturing mold (2) a method of modifying form fitting of die or core of mold.
