<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of easily discriminating a talker by means of a visual effect without disturbing users' concentration on a conference. <P>SOLUTION: A communication terminal disclosed herein for receiving images and voices of a plurality of communication opposite parties, displaying the images on a display means and sounding the voices includes: an upper limit setting means for setting an upper limit to the luminance of each region shared by each image on the display means on the basis of the sizes of the regions; and a luminance control means for controlling the luminance of each region within a range not in excess of the upper limit. In the case of displaying images S(0) to S(3) of a plurality of people on one screen and reproducing the images together with the voices, the luminance of the regions shared by the images are controlled, and the luminance of, e.g. a talker S(2) is relatively increased more than the luminance of hearers so as to concentrate attention onto the talker S(2) thereby easily and visually particularizing the taker. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
