<p>The system has an insertion device (2) and an insertion needle (1) containing a sensor or a cannula. The insertion device includes a holder (3) for the insertion needle and a piercing mechanism (4) so as to move the holder, together with a needle held by the holder, for a puncture linearly in feed direction. The piercing mechanism changes feed direction during puncture such that the insertion needle held by the holder is obliquely or perpendicular oriented to initial feed direction at the end of the puncture. The holder carries out curve movement during puncture. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling piercing movement of a needle moved by an insertion apparatus.</p> |
