<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that, in accordance with prior documents, it is not contemplated that water mixed with mineral such as potassium is not generated in a water washing treatment, wherein biomass is used for manufacturing biomass charcoal (high-quality carbide) having a low alkali metal content such as potassium and for fuel for a shaft kiln for a high-quality carbide, wherein the biomass charcoal is manufactured by selecting any of a drying treatment, a softening treatment, and a cell membrane disruption treatment, and thereafter performing a water washing treatment and carbonization of the biomass raw material, and feeding and blowing the biomass charcoal into the shaft kiln to be a fuel. <P>SOLUTION: This method of treating tropical plant waste comprises: a step of subjecting palm waste to a steaming step, a cutting (shearing) crushing step, a granulating step, and a drying step; a high heat treatment step of subjecting it to a high heat treatment to carbonize it into a carbide and gas containing tar and pyroligneous acid aqueous solution (organic acid solution); a carbide generation step of cooling the high temperature carbide with the organic acid solution to obtain the high-quality carbide from which potassium, sodium, magnesium or the like on the surface of the carbide is removed and a pyroligneous acid aqueous solution containing organic acid potassium, organic acid sodium, organic acid magnesium or the like; and a separation step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
