PURPOSE: A battery power supply apparatus and a power control method thereof are provided to detect a current supplied to a load using a current detection sensor, thereby controlling the output of an inverter. CONSTITUTION: A battery power supply apparatus comprises an input part(100), a battery power source part(200), an output part(300), and a current detection part(400). The input part comprises a first switch(110), a second switch(130), and an AC/DC converter(150). The battery power source part is connected to the AC/DC converter in order to charge a battery with an external power source. The output part outputs the external power source to a load. The output part comprises an output terminal(310), a DC/AC inverter part(330), and a third switch(350). The output of a battery power source is adjusted according to a load current received from the current detection part. The current detection part is connected between the load and the output terminal of the output part. |
