<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the concentration of a player from being dispersed even when start ports and special patterns are turned to two kinds in a pinball game machine. <P>SOLUTION: The result of drawing performed when a game ball enters a first start port (A start port 13 or B start port 14) is displayed by a first special pattern, and the variable display of pseudo patterns corresponding to the variable display of the first special pattern is performed. The result of second drawing performed when the game ball enters a second start port 8 is displayed by a second special pattern, but the variable display of the pseudo patterns corresponding to the variable display of the second special pattern is not performed. A ball flow path 10 for guiding the game ball detected by a second start port switch 9 to a fetch port 11 is provided, and the upper limit value of the variation time of the second special pattern decided by a main controller 40 is turned to the time needed after the game ball is detected by the second start port switch 9 until it reaches the fetch port 11 or less.
