<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a call connection method and system using a plurality of policy control servers configured while taking into account scalability (scaling property) in an IMS/MMD system. <P>SOLUTION: The call connection method and system has an access network, an IP network and an IMS/MMD network and includes a plurality of P-PCRF (Provider-PCRF) servers and one S-PCRF (Serving-PCRF) server. Each of the P-PCRF servers defines one or more access network units as a management target. A session control server transmits a calling-side resource request, based on a call connection request to the S-PCRF server and also transmits a called-side resource request. The S-PCRF server transmits the calling-side resource request to a first P-PCRF server, to which a calling-side terminal is connected, and transmits the called-side resource request to a second P-PCRF server to which a called-side terminal is connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
