PURPOSE: The damage sensing tape firstly senses the damage of the pipes before the damage of the laid pipes. The warning message is on a real time basis known as to operator and administrator. CONSTITUTION: A buried pipe management system with the damage sensing tape comprises a pipe(100), a sensing wire(110), a damage sensing tape(200), and a remote monitoring device(300). All kinds of the materials move from the pipe. Two wires of the sensing wire is parallelly installed in the outer circumference of the pipe. The exterior of the pipe is damaged with an external force. The wire is shorted as the disconnection. The sensing wire senses the damage of the pipe. The damage sensing tape is laid to be separated on the top of the pipe as the fixed interval. The damage sensing tape in advance senses the damage of the pipe by the external force. The remote monitoring device transmits a message the pulse signal in the sensing wire and damage sensing tape. It again receives a message the pulse signal returned from the disconnected or short-circuited spot and the remote monitoring device produces the disconnection or the shorted spot. The remote supervisory equipment transmits result to administrator.
