<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate system maintenance while preventing system configuration definition error in an engineering server, in a plant monitoring control system. <P>SOLUTION: The plant monitoring control system includes: a storage device 4M provided with a system configuration definition table wherein the connection information of a PIO device 3 corresponding to a controller 2 is registered; and the engineering server 4 provided with an automatic system configuration information generating function 4-3 for gathering the actual connection information of the controller and the actual connection information of the PIO device corresponding to the controller through a network, determining whether or not the actual connection information of the controller and the actual connection information of the PIO device corresponding to the controller that are gathered and the connection information of the controller and the connection information of the PIO device corresponding to the controller registered in the system configuration definition table are different, and updating the system configuration definition table to the actual connection information of the controller and the actual connection information of the PIO device corresponding to the controller when they are different. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
