<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for charging and discharging a workpiece (article to be heat-treated), which needs a shorter period of time for a series of the charging and discharging steps (cycle time), and can improve the working efficiency, and to provide a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This charging and discharging apparatus comprises: a first support 3 and a second support 4 each for mounting the workpiece (for instance, crankshaft 2) thereon; a hoisting mechanism 5 which elevates and drops the first and second supports 3 and 4 in mutually reverse directions; and a transfer mechanism 6 which moves the first and second supports 3 and 4 in the mutually reverse directions along the charging and discharging directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
