PURPOSE: A light emitting device, a light emitting device manufacturing method, a slight emitting device package, and a lighting system are provided to arrange a carbon nano tube layer with a tip coating method after a mesa etching process, thereby preventing the contamination of equipment which is generated by etching the carbon nano tube layer. CONSTITUTION: An un-doped nitride layer(20) is arranged on a growth substrate(10). A light emitting structure layer(60) is arranged on the un-doped nitride layer. A first conductivity type semiconductor layer(30), a second conductivity type semiconductor layer(50), and an active layer(40) are included on the light emitting structure layer. A carbon nano tube layer(70) is arranged on the light emitting structure layer. A transparent electrode layer is arranged on the carbon nano tube layer.
