Method and device for starting a pipe extrusion line

The method involves pushing an extruded pipe (6) through extrusion pressure that is generated from an extruder to an extraction unit by an extrusion line. The pipe is driven, where the pipe stands under pressure in a starting-up phase such that a seal (18) of a calibration-and refrigeration unit (8) is not adapted to atmosphere and the stands under pressure in another starting-up phase such that the seal of the calibration-and refrigeration unit is adapted to the atmosphere. The pipe is supported in the former starting-up phase by inner over pressure or a mechanical inner guide. An independent claim is also included for a pipe extrusion line comprising a calibration-and refrigeration unit.
