PURPOSE: An emergency U-turn system for an improved road median strip having a reference point for measurement is provided to improve measuring accuracy by marking a reference point for measurement on the system. CONSTITUTION: An emergency U-turn system(100) for an improved road median strip having a reference point for measurement comprises a support unit(110) and an operation unit(130). The support unit has a bottom plate(112) and a pole for a stone maker. The pole is installed in the bottom plate. The operation unit is arranged on the support unit. The operation unit is parallel to an adjacent median strip at ordinary times, and allows a vehicle to U-turn in an emergency. The operation unit has an operating cylinder(132) and a varying member(138). The varying member is rotated along a guide hole(128) when the operating cylinder is operated.
