PURPOSE: An electronic sealing apparatus of a container capable of locking and unlocking the container using an external memory and an operation method thereof are provided to improve easiness of locking and unlocking processes. CONSTITUTION: An electronic sealing apparatus of a container is comprised of a body part(110), a locking arm part(120), and an electronic component part. The body part covers a door locking rod and a knob. A locking arm is rotated by being arranged in the upper and lower end part of the body part. The locking arm combines the knob inserted in a guide groove of the body part. The electronic component part performs a locking or unlocking process according to a normal state of a security authentication file in an external memory and monitors an opening state of the locking arm part.
