MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING DATA USING AUGMENTED REALITY THEREOF

PURPOSE: A portable terminal and information display method using augmented reality are provided to acquire interesting place information by receiving realistic images in real time. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(180) requests interesting place information for a target including a realistic image by using measured place and attitude information. The control unit receives the interesting place information provided by an augmented reality service server. The control unit displays the received interesting place information and the realistic image by overlapping the interesting place information with the realistic image. The control unit searches information matched with the received interesting place information according to a user input signal in the database of a terminal. The control unit displays the searched result.
