METHOD FOR REMOVING PESTICIDE RESIDUES IN GINSENG LEAVES

PURPOSE: A pesticide residue removal method from ginseng leaves is provided to use a microwave extraction method for using the ginseng leaves as a functional food ingredient. CONSTITUTION: A pesticide residue removal method from ginseng leaves comprises a step of microwave extracting the ginseng leaves for 100-200 seconds in 100-250 Watt. A solvent for the microwave extraction process is hexane. The pesticide residue removal method comprises an additionally step of heat-processing the ginseng leaves at 70-100 deg C for 2-10 hours.
