PURPOSE: A linearity improvement method between incident gamma ray energy and the number of electrons outputted from a photoelectric device array and a photon collecting efficiency improvement method in a positron emission tomography(PET) module are provided to increase the thickness of a light guide, thereby projecting light to the large number of GAPD(Geiger-mode Avalanche Photodiode)s. CONSTITUTION: A photoelectric device is arranged into a 4×4 square matrix shape(410). A scintillation crystal is arranged into a 8×8 square matrix shape(420). A light guide is placed under the scintillation crystal. The photoelectric device is placed under the light guide(430). A PET(Positron Emission Tomography) module which uses the photoelectric device generates a flash of light from the inside of the scintillation crystal. An optical signal passes the light guide with a thick thickness.
