A monorail car retarder comprises brake beams with brake bars, which are located along one of the rails of the track on opposite sides of the rail, a toggle mechanism of a drive of brake beam mounted on a base and connected to a power pneumatic cylinder and the brake beams with possibility of displacement of the brake beams in opposite directions perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said rail. Along the second rail of track from its inner side with a gap relative to the head of the second rail a flange rail is mounted, which is connected by a transverse link to the base of toggle mechanism of the drive of brake beams. |
