A solid solution of magnesium and cobalt dihydrogen phosphates of MgCo(HPO)⋅4HO (0<x≤0.09) composition is a substitutional solid solution with restricted homogeneity region, it is crystallized in 2/m (LPC) space group of rhomboprismatical class of monoclinic system. It contains in the structure four molecules of crystallization water, and is prepared at the interaction of a mechanical mixture of magnesium and cobalt hydroxocarbonates, taken in the mole ratio of K= Mg/Co=98-106, and 70 % phosphate acid solution at pH of the presence of hydrogen peroxide. |
