ACTIVE MATERIAL COATING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for coating active materials is provided to effectively seal a gap between a vacuum chamber and a coating roll by forming side sealing parts and a center sealing part between the vacuum chamber and the coating roll. CONSTITUTION: A coating roll(1) transfers a substrate(S) forming the electrode plate of a secondary battery. A slot die(2) sets a coating gap between a slot hole(23) and the substrate and coats active materials discharged through the slot hole on the substrate. A vacuum chamber(3) surrounds a part of the circular direction of the coating roll and applies a negative pressure to the coating beads of the active materials. Side sealing parts(4) and a center sealing part seal a gap between the vacuum chamber and the coating roll.
