摘要 PURPOSE: A method for driving a liquid crystal display device is provided to improve display quality by reducing color mixture at an optical source boundary. CONSTITUTION: A light source of a first region(111) and a light source of a third region(113) are simultaneously turned on and a light source of a second region(112) and a light source of a fourth region(114) are simultaneously turned off at a first sub frame period. The light color of the first region is different from the light color of the third region. The light source of the second region and the light source of the fourth region are simultaneously turned on and the light source of the first region and the light source of the third region are simultaneously turned off at a second sub frame cycle. The light color of the second region is different from the light color of the fourth region. The second region is interposed between the first region and the third region. The third region is interposed between the second region and the fourth region.
