FIELD: physics, optics. ^ SUBSTANCE: intraocular lens (IL) comprises: optical section has squeezed inner optical part and edge, beaded peripheral ring extending around the optical part edge located there nearby and made integral therewith as an optical section part and located ahead nearby optical part, and multiple haptic elements extending from aforesaid ring and made integral with optical part and ring. IL is made from soft acrylic material. Maximum thickness of inner optical part is selected to equal 0.39 mm at 0.1 mm thickness of the edge and that of peripheral ring making 0.30 mm. ^ EFFECT: reduced weight, possibility to be fitted in smaller slits. ^ 3 dwg |
