[Class 46.] Chlorine for treating water is supplied from a container 10 of liquefied chlorine to a pressurereducing and flow-controlling device comprising a float-controlled valve 15 maintaining a constant pressure in a bell jar 19 by allowing the gas to flow at intervals into a reservoir 13 at a relatively high rate and to pass from this jar to the regulating means. The valve 31 by which the reservoir is filled may be actuated by hand, or automatically in dependence on a pressure gauge 30. |
