CAPACITANCE ESTIMATION METHOD USING TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION OF ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR FOR PULSE WIDTH MODULATION CONVERTER AND SYSTEM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A capacity estimating method and system using a temperature compensation of an electrolytic capacitor is provided to easily and accurately estimate the capacity of the electrolytic capacitor by revising estimated capacity of the electrolytic capacitor which is caused by temperature change to a value at the room temperature. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises a temperature sensor(160), a data acquisition part(170), and a compensator(180). The temperature sensor measures the operating temperature of an electrolytic capacitor. The data acquisition part obtains third date by repairing capacity change of the electrolytic capacitor according to output voltage with a normal temperature condition. The compensator revises a capacity value of the electrolytic capacitor which is estimated to a capacity value at the room temperature.
