PURPOSE: A water supplying apparatus for flowerpots promoting the root growth of plants is provided to prevent the flow of soil inside the flowerpots from discharging through a drain hole. CONSTITUTION: A water supplying apparatus for flowerpots comprises the following: a water storage tank(10) for supplying water to the flowerpots with drain holes on a flowerpot base unit(11); a cone shaped wick(22) with the lower side located in between the bottom of the water storage tank and the flowerpot base unit, formed with a water absorbing material; a wick supporter vertically installed from the upper side of the bottom of the water storage tank; a base vent connected to a cone opening of the wick supporter; gap protrusions protruded from the bottom of the water storage tank; and a flowerpot supporter(25) installed in the water storage tank for holding the load of the flowerpots. The wick supporter includes an air guide groove with an air guiding hole.
