PURPOSE: A selenium-containing additive and a method for manufacturing organic fertilizer using an additive-containing mushroom medium byproduct are provided to form selenium into a liquid transferable additive to crops by mixing the selenium with germanium, potassium, calcium, magnesium sulfate, and water. CONSTITUTION: A selenium-containing additive includes 1 weight% of selenium powder, 2 weight% of germanium powder, 5 weight% of potassium, 5 weight% of calcium, 10 weight% of magnesium sulfate, and 77 weight% of water. 99% of the selenium powder is refined. A method for manufacturing organic fertilizer using an additive-containing mushroom medium byproduct includes the following: The additive and organic fertilizer are mixed at the weight ratio of 1:1. The mixture is introduced into an oak saw-dust mushroom medium, and mushroom is cultivated. 99-99.5 weight% of waste mushroom medium and 0.5-1 weight% of effective microorganism are mixed and naturally fermented at a temperature between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 days. |
