PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal for a low power paging is provided to manage a paging slot cycle index by the mobile terminals. CONSTITUTION: A communication amount data storage(102) stores data about communication amount by the time. A slot cycle index determining unit(104) deciphers the communication amount from the communication amount data storage. The slot cycle index determining unit determines the slot cycle index by the deciphered communication amount. A response time control unit(106) controls the response time of the receiving part by the predetermined slot cycle index.
